Passport for Learning
Unit Description:
This project based unit allows students to explore their interests across all academic areas as well as leadership skills. Students learned skills such as research, organization, time management, public speaking, and collaboration. Students have over 60 projects in all subject areas to explore. Topics range from researching a famous person to designing a colony on Mars to rewriting a Children's Bill of Rights and many more. This project highly motivates students to become in control of their learning. Rather than earning grades, students earn miles to travel around the globe.
