I have been a social studies teacher for 19 years. I am originally from Richmond, Virginia and moved to Buffalo, NY when I was two... I received my Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Buffalo in 1991 and my Master's Degree in Secondary Social Studies Education from Canisius College in 1993. A firm believer that education is a life long process, I regularly take night classes at Niagara University. My two children are my most precious gifts.
Hobbies of mine include building and remodeling homes. I am proud to have built seven homes under my company Granite Home Builders, Inc.
