    I have been a special education teacher since 1985.  I am a native of Tonawanda and have lived in Western New York my entire life. I received my Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Elementary Education K-6 and Special Education K-12 from Buffalo State College. 

    In 1985, I began teaching for Orleans-Niagara BOCES at the Niagara Academy in a middle school age classroom with student's who had severe behavioral problems. I taught in this setting until the end of the 1987 school year. In addition, I taught as part of the O-N BOCES summer school program for 5 summer sessions. Since 1987, I have taught at North Tonawanda High School within the Special Education Department as Resource Room teacher.
