Re: Flowchart for Close Contacts
Please Note: This flow chart is NOT school specific. The NYSDOH guidance (linked below) regarding vaccine status for school staff and students will be followed. This means:
- All fully vaccinated* individuals (students, teachers, and staff), who have been exposed to an individual with COVID-19 may continue to attend or work at school, regardless of booster status, while quarantined outside of school.
- Fully vaccinated is defined as two weeks after the receipt of the second dose of Pfizer or Moderna, or two weeks after the J&J. (Booster not required for in classroom activities.)
- Before/After School: Individuals 12 years and older who are eligible for booster and not boosted must adhere to 5-day quarantine at home before/after workday
- Individuals unvaccinated or have not completed the primary series, quarantine for five (5) days (cannot attend school)
