  • Required Courses:

    Within the required courses for high school graduation, students in the Seal of Engineering & Architecture must complete a minimum of ten (10) credits of specific coursework. Within this coursework, 4 years of science are required one of which must be Physics, and 4 years of mathematics.

  • Academic Requirements:
    Academic Seal designation – All required coursework successfully completed
    Master Seal designation – All required coursework completed with an average of 90% or higher AND a district approved CEIP internship

    Curricular Plan
    A Curricular Plan provides a roadmap for completing this academic seal and the NTHS curriculum on time. Your actual plan may vary depending on enrollment date to the high school and/or transfer credit.
    All students are encouraged to use this plan in conjunction with other academic planning resources such as your school counselor or the academic seal director(s).
    In addition to following this course roadmap, all other academic requirements must be met in order to successfully receive a high school diploma.

  • *CEIP Internship – This is a one-semester program, offered in the summer, fall, and spring. Students must be 16 years old, a junior or senior, and be able to provide their own transportation.

    The internship coordinator works with parents and the student to find an appropriate placement in the community. Students must intern 54 hours during the semester, and attend class once a week. Students make their own schedule with the mentor to meet the 54-hour requirement.
